This storage facility comprises three levels of some 500 flexible storage units ranging form 5 to 30 square metres. The complex utilizes an existing 1000 square metres and a further 10500 square metres of three-level purpose designed building. Each level is accessible by vehicle ramps.
The purpose of this building was to cater for the shortage of commercial storage space catering for domestic, retail and office storage uses. Construction was of steel frame with pre-cast concrete wall panels and In-Situ reinforced concrete floors, ramps and stairs. Fire-Fighting facilities were supplied by underground pumps accessing 1000000 litre water storage tanks.
The facilities were to be computer operated using smart card and iris identification systems allowing 24-Hour Security Access with all security monitored off-site.
